Sunset in Michigan

Okay, so sometimes I complain about living in Michigan because it is so cold in the winter and the winters here are sooooo long. But I really can't complain when we have such beautiful sunsets. I took these pictures from my deck in my backyard. It had just snowed and it was cold, but beautiful.

SNOW DAY!!!

A couple of weeks ago we got alot of snow overnight. It was enough snow to cancel church that day and school the next day. So we went outside together and played in our front yard. Amanda and Ethan are on the sled being pushed down the driveway by Daddy. Don't worry, nobody went into the street. The plow trucks left a big pile of snow right in front of our house. It was convienent for sledding and not going into the street, but not so funny the next day when we had to shovel more snow to get the cars out of driveway!

Ethan is still not so sure about snow. It's still kind of hard for him to walk in, but he has a smile on his face. He just loves being outdoors even if it is very cold(note: very pink and cold nose). Matthew is at the age where he loves to eat the snow. His face is so red because he kept sticking his face in the snow to lick it!!

CHRISTMAS MORNING

Matthew received a "Whack-a-Mole Tower" from Santa for Christmas. It took Mommy a while to figure out what he wanted because he would say "I want a Rockaful Tower for Christmas". I finally saw him get excited over a commercial and then I knew what a Rockaful Tower was.
Princess Amanda(yes that is a bath towel with a crown) and her new
Baby Alive doll that wets and wiggles and cries!

Ethan loves his new bead thing. I have no idea what they are really called. It came from IKEA so it was in Swedish.

The kids got a "Leapster" for Christmas from their Grandma and Grandpa Bunker and they love it. Jared is helping them get started but now they don't need any help. Matthew plays it all the time. We got them a "SpongeBob" game to go with it. It is kind of annoying, but not very loud thankfully!

GREETINGS FROM THE GRIFFITH'S

Hello Family and Friends! I have decided to start a blog. After looking at my friend's blog and my sister's blog I thought it would be fun for me to start one too. Here is the Family Picture that we did for our Christmas Cards this year. Yes, I know that Matthew is not looking at the camera and Amanda looks like she has to go to the bathroom, but it was the best one we had. It was very cold and windy that day. This is the only pic where my hair wasn't sticking straight up thanks to the wind! Matthew can sometimes be a little uncooperative and that is okay! I still think that it is a cute family picture!
