Our Wonderful Trip to Florida!!!!

We recently just took a 6 day trip to Orlando, FL. It was sooo much fun. We started the trip out by going to the beach. The weather was perfect the whole time we were there. 75-85 degrees and sunny and warm. We went to DisneyWorld for 2 days and then spent the last couple of days playing at the Marriott Hotel/resort. There was alot of things to do there and we had a great time. We are already planning our trip for next year! It was just so nice to get away from Michigan.

Some guy let Amanda have his boogie board. She was doing pretty good surfing the waves with it, but by the time I got the camera she was ready for a break and wouldn't do it one more time for me. She had lots of fun collecting seashells at the beach too.

Matthew is playing runaway from the camera. But I got a nice shot of his dirty bum...actually his whole body is covered in sand.

Ethan loved the ocean and loved playing in the sand.

Matthew really wanted to get buried in the sand. Why not, we are at the beach having a fabulous day. It was warm, the sand was warm, but wait..what is Jared doing?

Yes, Jared just gave Matthew a set of boobs.

Yeah! We made it to Disney World. We just got in the park and walked down Main Street and had to stop to take a picture with the castle in the background!

Help! We were naughty and Mom and Dad locked us up with Zurg! Save us Buzz Light Year!

Jared and the kids getting off the Teacups. Boy were they dizzy when the came off that ride!
What a little angel. Ethan actually cooperated and took over an hour nap each day we were at Disney. He doesn't do well without his naps.

Of course no trip to DisneyWorld would be complete if we didn't get to see Mickey Mouse. We would have visited more characters but the lines were pretty long and we were tired of waiting in lines. So Mickey was the only one the kids saw. Ethan was quite amused with Mickey. He wouldn't stop staring at him. It is kind of a bummer that the Disney characters don't walk around the park anymore. You have to go to Mickey's house to see him, Minnie's house to see her, different line to see the princess.....just gets old.

Matthew is waiting in line for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. He was our little impatient guy. He didn't understand why there were lines and why he couldn't go to the front of them and get on the rides. It's hard to be 4 yrs. old sometimes.

We had just walked through the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. The kids thought the cannon was cool.

Amanda and Matthew are standing in Cinderella's Castle in front of the tile mural. Very cool!Amanda and Mom getting the "We are on a ride" picture. I think we were on "It's a Small World" ride. It is pretty cheesey but the kids loved it!

Matthew and Daddy-they almost look like twins!
Great view of Cinderella's castle!

This is the only picture we had taken as a family while we were at DisneyWorld. We are at the Winnie the Pooh little toddler play area standing in front of "Pooh's Howse". This of course was Ethan's favorite place. He could actually run wild with no child harness attached to him. He is sitting on Pooh's chair in his house.

The hotel/resort had 2 really nice pools with a waterfall in one of them that the kids loved to play in and swim under.

Our trip had to come to an end. We spent the last couple of days just playing at the hotel in their swimming pool and doing other activities they had. We rode a 4 person bike around the resort which was quite a work-out for Mom and Dad and then hit the pool to cool off! We were so sad to leave the warm weather, but all good things must come to an end.
